Dandadan, Vol. 12 by Yukinobu Tatsu presents a thrilling tale where a nerd must combat powerful spirits and aliens, all vying for the secret power of his "family jewel." Who better to stand beside him in this battle than his high school crush and a spirited granny?
Momo Ayase and Okarun find themselves at opposite ends of the paranormal spectrum concerning what they will and will not believe. This disparity propels them on a quest filled with secret crushes and paranormal battles that challenge the boundaries of their beliefs.
A gravely injured Okarun experiences an out-of-body incident. When he answers Momo's phone, he gets sucked through the telephone wires to join Seiko and Turbo Granny in the midst of a battle. Fortunately, Turbo Granny equips Okarun with a technique that not only helps him return to his body but also proves invaluable in the looming alien invasion.
Meanwhile, Momo and her friends undergo rigorous training. However, when they return home on the anticipated date of the invasion, they are stunned to discover that the battle has already commenced!
